How LPG is converted into gas?

If the gas in the gas cylinder used for cooking is in a liquid state, how does it turn into a gas when it is released?

Many of us may not know that the gas cylinder we use while cooking is in a liquid state. Now the question is, if the gas is in a liquid state, how does the liquid gas turn into a gas when the stove is turned on?


The gas used in cooking gas cylinders is LPG gas. The full form of LPG is: Liquefied Petroleum Gas. This LPG is mainly made up of a combination of butane and propane gas. This LPG gas is converted into a temporary liquid by applying pressure and filled into a cylinder. Another question remains that why is it necessary to convert the gas into a liquid? Because cooking will be done with gas. The reason for this is that transporting any type of flammable gas is a very dangerous task. Therefore, for the convenience of safe transportation, LPG gas is converted into a liquid and filled into cylinders. Now the main question is, if the gas in the cylinder is in a liquid state, how does it turn into a gas when it comes out? As I have already said, LPG is converted into a liquid with the help of pressure and filled into cylinders. And the cylinder is under high pressure. Any liquid or gaseous substance always flows from a place of high pressure to a place of low pressure. So when the gas stove is turned on, the liquid gas in the cylinder absorbs heat from the inner wall or coating of the cylinder and turns into gas. And this gas comes from the high pressure area in the cylinder to the low pressure area through the stove pipe
